Key Points of Daily Maintenance
Regularly check fasteners: Before each startup, check whether the blade fixing bolts are loose to prevent severe impacts during high-speed operation.
Strictly control feeding: Strictly prohibit hard impurities such as metals from mixing into the crushing chamber to avoid blade chipping or edge rolling.
Promptly clean residue: After shutdown, clean melted plastics and scale from the blade edges and apply anti-rust oil to prevent corrosion.
Proper Grinding Specifications
When you find that the cutting edges have become dull, the output particles are uneven, or energy consumption has increased, the blades need to be ground in time:
Control temperature: Water cooling must be used during grinding to strictly avoid local overheating that leads to blade annealing and a drop in hardness.
Maintain the angle: Grind according to the original factory-set cutting edge angle to ensure cutting sharpness and structural strength.
Paired replacement: For multi-blade crushers, after grinding, the blades should be weighed and installed in matched sets to maintain rotor dynamic balance and prevent excessive vibration from damaging the bearings.
